“There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.”
― Elie Wiesel

Dear Readers, Writers, and all other Fellow Human Denizens of this World,
Life is a conversation.  Life is an experiment.  Let us hope that ALL people will continue to protest our failures…and let us appreciate them for doing so!
For example, have we failed to eliminate the demand for abortion, birth control options, and assisted suicide?  Yes.  But, we have also failed to eliminate the “reasons” for the demand.  There is still rape, unprepared parents, and immense physical and emotional suffering.  Until the cause is dealt with, the desire for these solutions will remain.  And so…the conversation continues.
While I hope that people who agree with my worldview will continue to protest…even if they do not yet see the answer or hold the power to effect positive change….I also welcome those with a different worldview to do the same.  Every day, I learn from others and my views shift, grow, branch out, and mature…thanks to those who speak up.
Including authors who do so through the accented voices, well-chosen words, intentional actions, and “bravery in the face of impossible odds”of their fictional characters!  And so…let us strive to bring more role-models and activists to the printed page!
