“Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor.”
At first, it seems trite. Then, this idea begins to sink in, with all of its own flavors and textures and potentialities. Upon reflection, if you succeed without trying it is nothing…a hollow victory, an empty accomplishment, a forgettable accident. No…to truly taste the glories of success…we must feel the pain of all the many failures that lead up to that final moment of realizing our goal. Only then, will we have authentic reason to celebrate, cry with relief, gasp with amazement, and hang our heads with humility, because we know how hard a road we have traveled.
